for Mireille Silcoff’s “Archetypes”
(McClelland & Stewart) are made into a series of animated
shorts and Quarrington predicts his evolution into “telephone
writer” based on his collaboration with award-winning director
Bert Kish on “Angel Takes All: No Limit Texas Hold’Em”
(ECW Press) by Angel Largay. Includes a special segment with director
Irene Duma on moviemaking for wireless devices.

It's
just not fair that rock gods and movie stars get all the
limelight. BookShorts is trying to do our part for heroes
in the publishing industry. The BookShorts Blog covers
events and items in the biz, and welcomes contributions
and ideas from any and all. Drop a comment, gossip or
complaint - anyone can be famous for 15 seconds!
You
want PR done right, you gotta call the ddg. If you're
lucky (and we consider ourselves quite lucky to have
her on board) she'll focus her laser beam on the media
and tell them what-for, in the nicest possible way.
Really, I've seen it in action. See it for yourself
