Shooting at Book Expo Canada
We're in the business of moving your stories, and Kim McArthur
is all about moving her mysteries.
BookShorts is pleased to be working again with one of our
most savvy and proactive publishers, McArthur & Company.
In a single intense day of shooting during BookExpo Canada,
we will get up close and personal with EIGHT of their mystery
authors.
Want to be shot? No mystery there! We have two remaining slots
available on Sunday June 15th only. For more information or
to book your interview, contact: Sherry
Naylor at MEISNER, DE GROOT & ASSOCIATES, Judith
Keenan at BookShorts or visit BookShorts' BookExpo
webpage.

Bert Kish Directs Andrew Davidson’s
The Gargoyle
His debut novel hasn’t even hit
the shelves yet, but author Andrew Davidson is
already huge news. Davidson delivers a unique love story that
transcends time and space, with a narrative that connects a
tragic accident victim whose life is forever changed by mysterious
woman who knows him from long, long ago.
Watch for The Gargoyle,
which will be released August 5 in Canada, the US and the UK.
Can’t wait? Watch for the cinematic
interpretation of The Gargoyle in July, directed
by Bert Kish and produced by BookShorts.

James Squared
at BookExpo America!
What’s
better than one James? Why double James, of course! Two of our favourite
Jameses – James Patterson and James McCreath – took
the BookExpo America show floor by storm.
Our US Correspondent Lynn Rosen spoke with mega-bestselling author
James Patterson, who had a little trouble remembering his name,
what with 8 books out this year alone. See his interview on teh
BookShorts Blog>> http://bookshorts.com/blog/
McCreath isn’t shy about feeling like a rock star as fans
line up to get his autograph! Check him out strutting his stuff
at BEA. He clearly hasn’t had his fill, as he’ll be
returning to conduct more interviews at BookExpo Canada on June
15 and 16. Be sure to catch his new short film A Life’s Passion
(to be broadcast on CBC this fall) based on his epic drama Renaldo
in Booth 837 and at the BookShorts Lounge (South End 800 Aisle).
