Upside of Hype on CLT and BookTelevision features the
film and making of Thomas Homer-Dixon’s BookShort The
Upside of Down, plus intriguing explorations of the effect
press coverage has on artists, from Professor Homer-Dixon to the
nominees Pascale Quiviger and Carol Windley of the Scotiabank
Giller Prize; an excerpt from the Quarrington-directed
short film Moon and Mann captures every publicist's
worst nightmare.

Announces Air Dates for Moving Stories
Because you just can't get enough of a good thing, and due to
the most excellent co-production talents of Rogers TV, we're jazzed
to announce that Moving Stories will make its debut on the channel
Tuesday, May 1, 8:30pm then broadcast weekly
Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:30pm; Wednesdays at 4:30pm
And to really bring it home (!) Toronto Community News
joins us as host and sponsor of MovingStories right out
of the gate. Their participation has launched us on a whole new
dimension for the show we'll announce on May 1. Here's a hint

Trillium Book Awards
On Screen - send us your story!
The Ministry of Ontario has been stalwart and
true in making the province a better place for writers, and we're
privileged to able to help them capture their history for the
screen. BookShorts has been commissioned to produce a short that
will be screened at the Award event June 4, and made available
to broadcasters everywhere.
If you are an author who has been nominated for the Award in
the course of its history, we would love to hear your personal
